Tell us about your skincare

So,on Saturday I stayed in  Dunboyne Castle Hotel on a spa getaway with my Sister and it was super relaxing. We got chatting about skincare and we spoke about the sheer amount of products that are out there. It can make choosing skincare products very daunting. There always seems to be a new product coming out that "You just have to try" and it can leave us ladies feeling very confused and broke (if you buy into the hype). Firstly I wanted to share with you the facial that I got done in the Hotel and my own skincare routine.

So I decided to go for  the Image Facial  in Seoid Spa during our stay and it was truly amazing. My skin is still glowing today. The difference with this facial compared to others I have had is that the results are instant and the products smell amazing too.I try to get facials done as often as I can this is definitely my facial of choice now. This facial would be great for any brides to be, I wish I had of known about it for my wedding day.

This is Me today, I only have a tiny bit of Bronzer and mascara on.

I am no skincare expert, but I feel I am starting to find out what works for me. I think it is only when you hit your 30's that you start to think seriously about your skin, well this was true for me. So below are the products that I  use. I find that they are working great for me and after being told yesterday by my therapist that my skin is in great condition,I am confident that I am getting it right.

Avene water spray perfect for refreshing your skin
Micellar Cleansing Water, I use this daily and it is so gentle. Can also be purchased in Penny's

Organics by Pamela  serum this a new  Irish brand and it was developed by Pamela.
Sephora Facial Scrub used twice a week.
Green Angel Seaweed and collagen Face cream  I use this daily.

If you find your current skincare routine works for you then stick to it.

Love & Sparkle
xx

  1. You should use a cream that works to thicken skin naturally by increasing your own growth of collagen and elastin. As you start producing more collagen and elastin your skin will start getting thicker and smoother. In order to find a cream that really works you need to look at the ingredients and find proven effective ones. Mary Crosland

Flormar Revolution Lipstick In Burgundy Mission

I was delighted to receive a sample of the Revolution lipstick in burgundy mission, along with the lip liner to match. These were Kindly sent from RDC Communications. Flormar was launched this year in Ireland and it has proven to be a huge success and a popular choice for those who want affordability and quality.

I tested this lipstick out over Christmas, as I am trying to be more adventurous and try out stronger colours, as I normally tend to stick with nude tones. This lipstick is a rich berry colour with blue undertones, having these undertones makes your teeth appear whiter.
"Revolution is Flormar premium lipstick containing shea butter, cocoa, olives, a super pigment and easy 8 hr staying power".
Application Tips:
Before application ensure your lips are in good condition especially in this harsh weather. Exfoliate to remove any dry skin and apply vaseline regularly to keep them conditioned. I applied setting powder to my lips before application, this can help prolong …

On Thursday 2nd  June I went to visit venue number two, the breathtaking Ardgillan Castle. Located between Balbriggan & Skerries. If you have ever visited here you will understand what I mean. Everytime I go to Ardgillan I literally fall in love with it all over again. Whether I go for coffee in the tea rooms, bring my daughters to the  playground or just walk around the grounds. I adore it and Ardgillan was recently featured on Lovin Dublin as the best park in Dublin to visit, now that's pretty cool.

So onto the beautiful Castle, I met with Ann-Marie and Danielle and we chatted about the venue …

Think about this, have you ever gone to a wedding and after dinner all you want to do is take off your heels and wear something more comfortable so you can dance the night away or have you only wished that you had of brought the hair clips and hairspray that you left at home...I know I have for sure, so do not let your guests go through these traumas at your wedding.
